Jack Spencer is a musician, painter, American photographer (born in 1951 in Kosciusko, Mississippi, who lives in Nashville, Tennessee), which reflects in his works dealt with in the fourth dark rural life in southern United States and Mexico.
Biography
- His first love was music, playing in rock bands and making records.

- is best known for his series Native Soil in deep sepia tones combined with the imagery of the deepest south United States. His series
- Lost Boys is the Nashville youth issues starting with the murder of a young Sudanese refugee Pel Gai in a nightclub.
- was included in The South By Its Photographers along with other southern artists such as Shelby Lee Adams , William Christenberry and Melissa Springer .
